Note*circa 1805 There is a story in the family that an ancestor of Angus Dixon Clouston (1866-1905) was at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.

There is a Christopher Dixon born South Shields 1778 listed as a Quartermaster on the Muster Rolls of H.M.S. Victory at the battle, he survived.
