  euphorbia-mi.jpg -  Angus Dixon Clouston  joined the Merchant Navy and was a Stward on the Euphorbia. She was torpedoed by U-100 in December 1940. U-100 Commanding Officer was awarded the Knights Cross by Hitler for a series of attacks before christmas 1940. 4 Months later he and his crew were killed when caught snorkelling at night, U-100 was the first submarine sunk using radar.
